Dr. Niall O’Donnell is a managing director at RiverVest Venture Partners. Dr. O’Donnell is a board member of Mirum, Amplyx , Curzion and Spruce and Avalyn, and a co-founder and CEO of Reneo. Dr. O’Donnell was a board member of Lumena (acquired by Shire) and Excaliard (acquired by Pfizer). Dr. O’Donnell was in drug development at Johnson & Johnson PRD. Dr. O’Donnell earned his PhD in biochemistry from the University of Dundee, MA in natural sciences from Pembroke College, Oxford and a MBA from U.C.S.D.
