Cardiost is currently working on fully implantable, mechanical circulatory support device to treat late-stage patients suffering from Heart Failure preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF). 3.1 million adults in the US have been diagnosed with HFpEF. It has NO device-based treatment approved by the FDA.
